I would prefer the NA SHO V6 like in the SHOGUN.

Of similiar interest is this Honda Civic.

It’ll be kinda like those people who put a Honda B or K series in the back of an original Mini.

Like a Metro 6R4 but, not as terrifying.

I was thinking like a Shogun but not as slow or heavy.

That Civic just looks right, like it could almost be a factory conversion. Similar to how the Renault 5 Turbo looked like that’s how it was always intended.

If your going that far, you may as well add the whole front suspension from the focus & trans, get the steering working and you'll have 4 wheel steer.

Or just move the existing one to the back and be ready to exit most turns backwards at LeMons!

I’m assuming the wider rear track is to fit the SHO engine and drivetrain, but you think they could have saved even more weight by foregoing the gaudy body work

That car is light enough that the 1.0L Ecoboost may be an even better choice. Keep the weight down and you don’t need as much power. Or just go nuts and throw either the 2.7L EB or 3.5 EB for maximum terror and deathy crashiness.

Even the “easy” job of swapping a BP into a Festiva produces one hell of a little pocket rocket. Throw on some Miata turbo goodies from someone like ilovetacotaco and you’ve turned it into a suicide booth.

A friend of mine, who builds race cars for a living, recently told me that the only car he was ever truly afraid to drive was his otherwise completely stock wastegate-pressure BPT Festiva swapped parts runner.

Silence. The Shogun is beautiful.

well it does have wide wheels but yeah i think mostly to fit sho engine and trans and then make it look racey.
